Find A Band Now
Hi, people I am a drummer, Bimm student, and I'm looking to start a PROGRESSIVE EXTREME METAL project. The objective is to create extremely dark, atmospheric and ultimately to compete as DARKEST AND HEAVIEST music out there. Some examples are bands like Humanity's last breath, Meshuggah and Black tongue. My personal playing influences also include Vildhjarta and Suicide silence.
Only looking for someone who would share such vision and who is equipped to tune very low. Please NO metalcore, generic death metal, classic heavy metal, hardcore, punk rock, country pop, Reggaeton, etc.
I own a 5 string bass and all the equipment to write, record bass and guitar and program high quality drums, know how to use Logic and have a fair grasp on music theory so the right guitarist would be enough to start recording demos. Will then find the rest of the line-up using such demos as reference. The project is to be considered a SERIOUS one, with aim to gig, TOUR and RELEASE PROFESSIONALLY.
I also have access to FREE REHEARSAL TIME at Pirate studios Earlsfield and even a locker for instruments in there.
Hit me up if that's YOU and you like what you are reading, feel free to ask me more info, WA: 07928586044 Cheers!

I'm a 20-year-old drummer in south west London looking to form a Indie/Alt Rock band.
I've got some ideas and lyrics I've been working on, so I am looking for some likeminded people to develop ideas, have a laugh and a blast.
I would like to push this quite far but I'm not unrealistic so dedication and commitment rank above experience (as I know it's hard to get some when starting out). People located in South West London and close to Kingston Upon Thames would be ideal to make meeting up and progressing easier.
I'm interested in trying to bring aspects of my favourite bands together, so Arena ready anthems like Catfish and the Bottlemen with the massive riff and drums sounds of Royal Blood with drops and melodies like Foals and the possibility of some electronics and samples.
Hard hitting riffs with relatable lyrics.
If this sounds like you or would like some more info please don't hesitate to get in touch,
I'm a drummer looking for an electro/synth/dreampop sound - interested in bands like lcd soundsystem, little dragon, beach house, katrynada, warpaint, caribou, broadcast, grimes, tyler the creator, metronomy, hot chip, la femme, animal collective, rozi plain, massive attack etc etc...
I'm 25 and have experience in several bands gigging and recording and preferably looking for people with similar experience in their mid 20's. Looking for people who want to make original music and are committed to playing at least once a week, but acknowledge the reality of getting stuff done around real life - but essentially want to enjoy getting creative and see where it takes us! Have a guitarist/keys who's potentially on boards as well.
Let me know if you're interested and I'll send over some recordings we've got and send some of your stuff over as well to my email email@example.com
Guitar player, 39 y/o, from London Paddington, looking to start a new band. I'm interested in originals and not in covers. I've been playing guitar for 24 years and I played any kind of music, from blues, jazz, funk, to rock and metal. We can organise a Jam session here if you want!
Singer and bass player are looking for other members (drummer and at least two guitarist) for a heavy metal band: US power / Speed metal / Thrash metal and why not some death metal too.
We are quite flexible in terms of music we like to play good heavy metal.
We will started with some covers to get know each other first and of course we would like to write our own songs too.
If interested drop us a message and we will take from there!!!
I'm a singer and guitarist looking to put together a metal band - specifically another guitarist, a bassist and a drummer. I've got a ton of original material written with 5 of those songs written specifically for an EP which is about 90% finished. I'd love to collaborate with like minded musicians and play these songs live!
My main influences include but are not limited to: Trivium, Machine Head, Avatar, Gojira, Children of Bodom, Behemoth, Architects, Sylosis, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Metallica and many more.
I play primarily in G# standard on a 7 string (the entire EP is in this tuning - I know it's low lol)
If anybody is interested to meet up to discuss more that would be great!
In the meantime, if you'd like to check out my stuff here is a link to the YouTube page below. The videos titled "Marching Through The Storm" and "The Calm After The Storm" are two of the five songs written for the EP (they are a bit sloppy but it will sound better haha).
Thank you for taking the time to check this ad out and I hope to hear from you soon!
I'm a 17 year old intermediate guitarist and would like to jam with some people. I don't mind the instruments or style to a certain extent, though my favourite genres would be metal/rock. I can play clean or distorted riffs and melodies (e.g. Seek And Destroy, Nothing Else Matters, Don't Fear The Reaper, And Justice For All.), and basic solos (Nothing Else Matters, Paranoid). I can strum though its not a style of playing I normally use. Recently I've begun using more interesting (to me) techniques such as tapping, some of the songs I've recently learnt are Esoteric Surgery and Oroborus by Gojira.
We’re currently looking for a confident and creative drummer to complete the line-up for a new dedicated band.

I am completely self taught guitarist of 11+yrs. Have played and gig'd guitar/Bass in, stoner rock / doom sludge / metal groove/ jam / bands through out the years.
Over the last 1.5 yrs i have had collective time to write/ arrange/ compose 15-20 songs for a death metal project and would like to bring them to completion, and pursue performing a musical endeavour i feel more passionate about at this present time, then being bound by past ventures.

Cannibal Corpse FearFactory (Concrete/S.N.M) Bloodbath CanniBUs Corpse Morbid Angel Six Feet Under Skinlab Jungle Rot Obituary Napalm Death Exhumed Aegaeon Cattle decapitation Decapitated Demisery Job For A Cowboy Miseration Thy Art Is Murder
However, after many yrs my true influences come down to:
Weed Life Boredom Badass amps/tones Floor effects Multiple tunings And... Weed
I believe the best yet; rare traits and qualities in music allows breathability Within it. Openness to the song/groove/vibe/ tempo and most especially the instruments and in respect; those playing them. Allowing for unique creativeness on individual and collaborative levels. And can compliment the overall efforts made, aside from the well known but never over looked derivative guitar or wall of sound commonly heard.
Im interested in serious individuals, whom can invest their Un-divided time. Are down to earth, honest and of neutral nature. Are each capable of contributing/writing songs, be it drums/ bass/ lyrics and can take it apon themselves to show up for practices and rehearsals.
Which leads me to search for the following ....
Bassist/ 5-6 string jazz/technical/ death metal influenced
Guitarist/ 7-8 string lead/rythem
Drummer/ progressive/ death metal/ death core/ groove/ blast beat/ double kick/ fills/ rolls / all around inventive original and knows how to fill holes
Vocalist/ gutteral/ scream/ shriek/
So... if you believe this could very well be you, or you and your mates...
Drop me a line.
Hey peeps, my names Nathaniel, I'm 21 and I'm currently focusing on Vocals but I've also been playing guitar for close to 7 years so I could help a bit on those sides of things too and I've already come up with a few guitar ideas that sound really cool, possibly to be complete into full songs.
I'm looking to play in a Mix of Metalcore/Deathcore/Prog/Djent influences... Primarily a Metalcore/Djent kinda sound, More detail near the end.
I can kind of do vocals and guitar simultaneously but I've never really considered doing both until recently.
I've only just been bothered to master one song to do it to which is "Asking Alexandria - Nobody Don't Dance No More", I nailed it down in under 3 hours, that boosted my confidence in being able to do Vocal + Guitar stuff, so I may look into doing more of it in future, some of that James Hetfield and Matt Tuck action up in here lol. for now...
I'm only interested in taking a Lead Vocalist position.
I'll get straight into posting some of my vocal videos so you know how I sound and what techniques I can do, Audio isn't the greatest. I am able to get Microphone equipment but I haven't settled on anything yet... I might get a Shure SM57 because it actually sound great on vocals too plus instruments. Anywho... To my Vocals
The first 2 are from this year, the rest from 2017.

I'm hoping to form or be apart of a band soon, as a Vocalist. But I also just want to jam with people who like and play similar music to see if we can build anything out of it... Or just to make friends and connections. My main genres are of Metalcore, Deathcore, Djent if you'd consider that a genre. But I listen to pretty much everything... Huge reggae fan anywhooo...
I like mixing things up and experimenting vocally but ultimately I am my own person and will have my distinct core sound and influences and I'm still trying to improve as much as I can.
I listen to stuff like Polaris, Thy Art Is Murder, Killswitch Engage, Monuments, Oceans Ate Alaska, BMTH, Any Given Day kinda stuff... The list goes on forever really... So many good bands out there.
But these are not strictly what I draw inspiration and influence in my writing from. Just what I mostly listen to and the kind of instrumentals I like to do vocals to. Anyways... If you're interested in talking casually, just jamming or trying to form a group, Message me at any time On here, Email or preferably WhatsApp.
My number: 07950 415449

Hi my name is James - I was previously in a two-piece band called Dinosaur Jesus (links attached) and I am really keen to get something similar going again I just need to find the perfect drummer
The plan is to just jam once a week or so, play a few gigs around London and get onto the festival circuit for next year. I have a bunch of songs written but can write more, looking for someone creative and fun who hits HARD. Technical ability is really second to stage presence and the ability to rock. With only two people stage presence is so important!
I've listed some influences below but for a 2 piece band you can probably guess half of them. Sound-wise I'd be open to going more metal or more punk. I love both metal and hardcore punk so if you are that type of drummer then please still get in touch!
Black Keys / Death From Above / Clutch / Royal Blood / Slaves / Bass Drum Of Death / Deap Valley
